Beryl (Var: Emerald)
Three GEMMY, bright green emerald crystals in matrix, from a locality in Afghanistan that has turned out FAR fewer emeralds than the famous Columbian ones - these are much more rare on the specimen market as most are sold quickly for gem and cabbing rough. This valley was disputed heavily during the afghan civil wars because of its importance in generating funds from the mining. now, it has been producing specimens a little more regularly. The largest crystal here measures 2.5 cm in length and is TERMINATED. These crystals have wonderful color! 6.1 x 4.7 x 3.7cm
