Elbaite
A fine, 1960s era, watermelon tourmaline from the Santa Rosa Mine of Brazil. The gemmy and lustrous, green body has a cranberry-red core in the lower half of the crystal. Below the lustrous termination the crystal is teal-blue to blue to black. Weighs 100 grams.
