Elbaite Tourmaline
This bright pink Elbaite Tourmaline group from the famed Himalaya Mine in California is composed of three, gemmy to translucent, terminated crystals accompanied by a few small, lavender books of Lepidolite. Clusters from the Himalaya dike system are not common and this is an absolute classic: it has ideal composition and proportions as a display specimen! Another great attribute here is that all of the crystals display excellent luster on the prism AND terminal faces! The two large side crystals are terminated at the top and contacted at the base. The middle crystal is terminated in front on the display side but not in the rear where it goes unnoticed. This distinctive cluster comes with a custom engraved acrylic base. Ex. Bill Larson collection. Superb in the size range, and not just the "usual single" style!
