Aquamarine with Quartz and Albite from Shigar Pakistan
To get an Aquamarine in a cabinet large size range of this caliber is more or less impossible! This piece is from a well-known locality in Pakistan. The gemmy elongated crystal of Aquamarine with a length of 10.5 cm is shooting out vertically on the well-crystalized matrix, like a rocket into heaven! The crystal has one repair at the bottom but the shape, size, and quality is truly exceptional. The crystal has a beautiful turquoise-blue color, depending on the light source used. It is glassy and transparent with a beautiful helix as well. The matrix consists of well-crystallized Albite in association with Quartz. In person, it’s just unbelievable! It is truly insane and the quality speaks for itself. The clarity and luster are the best we have seen, it shines like a Diamond. Truly an amazing find.
