UR Minerals was founded in 2021 by Shahab Khan, a young mineral dealer based in Peshawar, Pakistan, with a singular mission to connect the world’s collectors with the finest specimens emerging from the mountains of Pakistan and Afghanistan.

What sets UR Minerals apart is direct access. Shahab has personally traveled to the mines of Balochistan, sourcing specimens directly from the miners who extract them. This means every piece comes with genuine first-hand knowledge of its origin not a secondhand story.

UR Minerals sources across the full breadth of Pakistan’s mineral-rich regions Skardu, Gilgit-Baltistan, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as well as select localities in Afghanistan, bringing rare and exceptional specimens directly to collectors in the USA, UK, Canada, Europe, Australia, and beyond.
