Retired firefighter and collector of aesthetic New Jersey traprock and colorful worldwide minerals.

In 2011, I sold much of my original mineral collection to Stuart Wilensky (Wilensky Exquisite Minerals), keeping only those from New Jersey. Feeling a sense of loss, I restarted the chase for more color and diversity in 2014. I'm always on the lookout for former pieces, reacquiring many when they become available.

I have authored detailed articles on the Braen Quarry in Haledon and the Fanwood Quarry in Watchung, which have been published in the November-December 2009 and the March-April 2010 issues of the Mineralogical Record.
