Jeremejevite
This is a gemmy, transparent specimen that is a complete floating crystal of jeremejevite, from a small pocket discovered in 2015-16, most of which went to Marshall Sussman (who lives near Alex). The piece is a wonderful thumbnail that stands out from others as it has some kind of form in the sculptural result of a kind of dissolution effect that caused the original crystals to look etched. Most of these crystals in this size range just look raggedy, jagged, but this has proportion and balance, as well as great color, top luster. It is also 22.3 carats of gem rough, and some nice gemstones were cut from this material (which are also of considerable value). Alex's note says, From: Crystal Cellar (Marshall Sussman) in 2016 before he sold many more at the Tucson Show. Laszlo Kupi photo.
