This is a large, well-covered specimen of wendwilsonite with lustrous, magenta wendwilsonite crystals up to 1cm. The crystals occur as aggregates of disc-like crystals in beautiful arrays. This exceptional piece is from the collection of Dr. Wendell E. Wilson, Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of the Mineralogical Record who the mineral was named after. This is a rare opportunity to get such an exceptional specimen and is from the type locality Bou Azzer, Morocco.
