This great wendwilsonite was illustrated in Mineralogical Record (vol. 38, issue 5, pg. 392, fig. 120). Beautiful, lustrous magenta crystals up to 6mm cover a area of 7x4cm intermixed with calcite crystals. This fantastic piece is from the collection of Dr. Wendell E. Wilson, Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of the Mineralogical Record who the mineral was named after. From the type locality Bou Azzer, Morocco. Some damage is present across the specimen.
