Jouravskite on Oyelite$2,400.00

Wire transfers available, to set up
This colorful piece from the N'Chwaning manganese mines of South Africa features several clusters of bright, canary-yellow Jouravskite crystals to 1 cm associated with white, 2 to 3 mm botryoidal clusters of Oyellite on a massive Manganite matrix. Individual, vibrant yellow Jouravskite crystals are transparent to translucent and range in size from about 2 mm to 1 cm forming dazzling, yellow clusters anywhere from 3 mm to 1.3 cm across and are just gorgeous and super bright! The Jouravskites are set on a contrasting, bubbly surface white Oyelite for great composition and contrast. Jouravskite is a rare, hydrated calcium-manganese sulfate-carbonate of the Ettringite Group and Oyelite is a rare, hydrated calcium borosilicate. For even more defined contrast, these two rare and colorful minerals are set on a dark, charcoal gray matrix of Manganite ore. This is a beautiful and unusual combination piece from the Kalahari Manganese Field. This is from one small pocket a few years ago in 2017, that is by FAR the best of species known (and which we acquired nearly the full contents of). These have incredible color, among the most lemon yellow of any mineral species, period.
