Ordinarily a very rare mineral species, a group of mines around the settlement of Grootfontein in Namibia have produced simply remarkable crystallized specimens of Descloizite, some like fantasy forms of bladed instruments. This pure miniature-sized sample of crystallized Descloizite from the famous Berg Aukas deposit has 'spear-shaped' and other bladed forms all with a cola-brown colour.
