Fluorite on Quartz druse
Crystals up to 28 mm across on matrix covered with sparkling colourless quartz druse. Apparently the piece was found in the spring of 2019. As to the locality, the following was posted on https://www.mindat.org/loc-297119.html: “NOTE: According to a Chinese geologist (July 2024) this is NOT the origin of the famous tanzanite fluorites. Therefore this kind of fluorites is found in limestone deposits. They came from "Haixia Limestone Mine, Meihu Town, Dehua County". This is a unterground mine, run actually by the Haixia cement company and the whole mountain beneath is nearly emptied”.
