I have been unable to find any other examples of well crystallised electrum from this mine. On his visit on 7 August 2024, Dr Stuart Mills (ex Senior Curator of Geosciences at Museums Victoria in Melbourne, and professing to be knowledgeable about Papua New Guinea gold) expressed the view that the specimen is completely unique.
