A blast from the past! This specimen was recovered almost 30 years ago from the famous Hedgehog Pocket. This is a beautiful and highly representative example from this famous Sweet Home Pocket. Discovered in early August of 1996, the Hedgehog Pocket is one of the best known from Sweet Home. The pocket produced over a thousand rhodochrosite specimens, many of which exhibiting beautiful quartz crystals, fluorite, and hubnerite. This piece features dozens of lustrous sharp rhodochrosite crystals, a small but mighty terminated hubnerite, and very aesthetic quartz. Classic!
