Rhodochrosite, Quartz
A great representative example of rhodochrosite from the 04-17 Pocket – one of the last pockets mined in the original Sweet Home workings. This pocket was known for its frosted look and colorless fluorites – much like what is seen on this specimen. Some damage on the periphery and bottom crystals, as seen – but overall very nice.
