A very interesting non-African specimen from the collection of Uli Bahmann. This quartz with adularia and chlorite is classic Switzerland. Gemmy lustrous smoky quartz and sharp adularia crystals make for a fantastic large plate (nearly 20 cm) from the Alps. One damaged quartz crystal center right, as seen. One unstable quartz crystal recently stabilized. Very neat!
