Chalcopyrite var Blister Copper$250.00

Wire transfers available, to set up
The unusual smooth botryoidal form of Chalcopyrite known by the term 'Blister Copper' has been known from Cornwall for centuries but only from handful of mines of which Tincroft and the neighbouring Cook's Kitchen and Dolcoath mines are the most famous of the historic producers. Remarkably, there are still few other worldwide occurrences. This miniature specimen from Malcolm Southwood's collection is a great example of this intriguing material from Tincroft mine and presents a fine historic brassy patina and lovely smooth undulating botryoidal surface.
