This is a very cool specimen for anyone who collects Colorado. Here we have a saturated purple fluorite draped across a bright green bed of malachite from the world famous Sweet Home Mine in Alma. While fluorite is common from this mine malachite is quite rare. According to Lavinsky’s description online there we only about 2 dozen specimens found from this pocket.
