This miniature specimen from the famous historic silver mining town of Freiberg in Saxony, Germany is dominated by layered botryoidal colloform aggregates of dull dark grey Native Arsenic upon which a very thin finely crystallized layer of Dyscrasite is developed. Coarser crystallized glossy to resinous deep purple-red Prousite is also present, but as fractured crystal surfaces. Rare material from this famous old silver mining district.
