Gold on Quartz
A particularly elegant example of crystallized gold from this legendary pocket, of Valentine's Day in 2024, featuring elegant, arborescent gold seemingly twisted around and then reaching up like smoky golden flame from a natural pedestal. It is something quite unlike most golds, and the cluster, intact, reaches from bottom to top (nearly 9 cm!). It is curving and yet machined and metallic, at the same time. The closer you look, the more detailed are the mesmerizing surface features. Among the majority of this find, the value was in much larger (and more expensive) specimens; there were few enough in this size range to be had at any price. We have selected a few of the special pieces, each different from the others, to present from the limited supply available at the time. Note the top half is freestanding, complete all around 360 degrees. This gold gives a massive display impact for the size and richness, the volume of the gold here.
