Malachite
Czar mine at Bisbee, Warren District, Mule Mts, Cochise Co., Arizona, USA has quite a limited list of recorded mineral species, but that is simply because it operated at such an early date that few specimen attributable to there survive. The Malachite from there was resplendent, with velvety or satiny lustre. This magnificent cabinet-sized specimen displays this classic form perfectly and is miraculously damage-free, other than the tinniest of scuffs to the dark-green velvety surface. Forming a shallow, gently-concave opening, the Malachite forms almost the entirety of the specimen as a thick crust of compact radiating fibrous silky green crystals. These terminated into the cavity as satiny dark forest-green botryoidal masses. This really is a beautifully textured Bisbee Malachite and from the famous early mine.
