Brucite
The main body of this massive Pakistani Brucite specimen is delicate and primarily composed of sparkling, white, botryoidal Brucite clusters that, apart from two very small spots on the specimen's rear side, is completely free of matrix. Larger, well-defined aggregates of pearlescent, lemon-yellow Brucite (reaching 3.8 centimeters) are spread across the topside of the specimen and balance surprisingly well against the underlying backdrop of brilliant white. Due to the specimen's thinner structure, the Brucite backlights incredibly well, beautifully saturating each crystal and visually texturing the piece with an assortment of three-dimensional silhouettes cast by the dozens of topical botryoides. This piece comes with a custom acrylic base.
