Stibnite
While Stibnite itself is a fairly common mineral in today's market, the material from Nevada is a completely different story! This massive, museum-grade specimen of Stibnite comes from the White Caps Mine, which is home to what are considered some of the finest (and more scarce) examples for the species in North America. The piece features several clusters of robust, elongated crystals (up to 5.9 centimeters) across the specimen's front side, accompanied by carpets of much thinner crystals that cover the matrix. Each crystal has a strong metallic luster and a steely-grey color mild tinges of metallic-blue. This piece comes with a custom acrylic base.
