Stibnite
The Xikuangshan Mine is the world's largest deposit of antimony, and has been exploited for its commercial ore for many years now. Consequently this mine also produces world-class Stibnite specimens, of vastly varying habits. Among the most unusual of these forms are the bent, or "dog-leg" Stibnite crystals. This specimen has one of these dog-legs presented front and center, beautifully curved and substantial in both length and girth. Arranged neatly around this focal point are more equally wonderful, and nicely terminated Stibnite crystals, as well as a sprinkling of Calcite to boot. This specimen comes with a custom acrylic base.
