Boleite
A very large and excellent specimen of sharp Boleite cuboctahedrons from the Boleo District-the mineral's type locality-scattered across a nicely contrasting matrix. Reaching up to 0.5 centimeters across, the Boleite is very lustrous and has an incredibly deep blue color. Adding extra contrast to the piece, velvety patches of bright green Atacamite are strewn across the matrix, which is an uncommon association in Boleite specimens. This is a truly impressive specimen compared to most other Boleite specimens from the locality, which typically reach up to a few inches or have a small number of well-formed crystals.
