Ferberite, Sphalerite, and Quartz
This exceptional combination specimen features dozens upon dozens of superb Ferberite crystals that are scattered amongst a field of spectacular Quartz crystals and groups of associated Sphalerite. Complimenting the jet-black color, every Ferberite is incredibly flashy, boasting a strong mirror-luster that is nicely accented by finely striated faces. With the largest crystal reaching 4.0 centimeters, most of the Ferberite crystals have complex shapes with sharply beveled corners and edges. The Quartz crystals are just as impressive with each crystal being resplendent, gem-clear, and heavily striated along the side faces. A small number of Quartz points are partially etched and recrystallized. This piece comes with a custom acrylic base.
