Arsenopyrite
Completely covering the front side of a massive host rock matrix is a thick layer of superb and flashy Arsenopyrite crystals that reach up to an impressive length of 4.4 centimeters. Every Arsenopyrite crystal is sharply-formed with nicely-curved edges and gives a beautiful three-dimensional display to the display. The crystal faces are detailed with gently-stepping features and broadly sweeping, some almost fan-like striations that heavily complement the Arsenopyrite's strong metallic luster. Only a small selection of Arsenopyrite specimens at this caliber have ever been produced by the San Antonio Mine, making it an incredibly rare find when one finds its way to market; this particular Arsenopyrite is one of the more substantial specimens to be seen from this lesser-known locality! This piece comes with a custom acrylic base.
