Pyrosmalite-(Fe) is an extremely rare species in good crystals, with some of the best having historically come from the Type Locality region at Nordmark Odal Field, Filipstad, Värmland, Sweden. This amazing large miniature display specimen from Nordmark, from the superb systematic collection assembled by the brothers Martin and Michael Günther (1951-2007 & 1956-2021) features several magnificent hexagonal prismatic crystals, the largest of which is a staggering 2.2 cm in length. This main crystal lies flat on the surface, but other smaller crystals point upwards showing the hexagonal outline extremely well. In all there are over 18 individual Pyrosmalite-(Fe) crystals present, all a murky brown-green colour. A world-class, museum quality Pyrosmalite-(Fe) for the ultimate rare species collection. It comes with a custom-made Sunnywood acryllic display stand.
