GREIFENSTEINITE with ZANAZZIITE Eosphorite and Rose Quartz$450.00

Wire transfers available, to set up
A small miniature-sized aggregate of pale pink Rose Quartz crystals from Jenipapo district, Itinga, Minas Gerais, Brazil, plays host to a suite of rare phosphate species, including: Greifensteinite - calcium iron beryllium phosphate; Zanazziite - calcium magnesium beryllium phosphate; and Eosphorite - manganese aluminium phosphate hydroxide hydrate. The Eosphorite occurs as clove-brown radiating sprays of acicular/bladed glassy microcrystals. Greifensteinite occurs as rounded, spherical crystal aggregates, and Zanazziite, with which Greifensteinite forms a series, occurs as greenish-cream flat-topped prisms. An extremely rich miniature of these rare phosphates. It is from the superb systematic collection assembled by the brothers Martin and Michael Günther (1951-2007 & 1956-2021).
