Wire transfers available, to set up
This sweet rosette of rich blue Azurite is well formed and is a classic from the top American Azurite locality, the Czar Shaft Mines at Bisbee (1890s-early 1900s). It is complete all around with the best side facing front in the photo. It is diamond-shaped in cross-section and is the classic, most desired Bisbee Azurite style; and it's a great thumbnail! It dates from the early 1900s. A USA classic in extremely good form and size. Featured in the book Collecting Pseudomorphs: The Changelings of Mineralogy (Mineralogical Record, January 2025) on p. 69, fig. 15. Part of an educational set, with these additional items: Copper (SYP25-02a) and Copper ps. Azurite "rose" (SYP25-02b).
