This is a fibrous halite (potash salt) with blue zoning due to irradiation during crystallization (no latent radioactivity).

The three white-blue-white layers are clearly visible.

This is a piece that is the same thickness as the potash vein, so one could say it is finished since there was contact with the ceiling and floor of the vein.

Typical of the Wittelsheim mine, almost impossible to find online (I haven't seen any, except on Etsy or eBay).
