Aquamarine from Nyet-Bruk, Pakistan, 21st Century.

Aquamarines are beryllium minerals, colored blue by iron. This is an amazing example with incredible quality and great size. It has exacting edges and smooth faces, all heightened by glossy luster. The piece has excellent color, a true “aquamarine” blue that is complemented by wisplike inclusions that resemble delicate threads. Although minerals must often trade quality for size, this example lacks neither and is an outstanding example of its species.
