Aquamarine Cluster with Cloud-like Inclusions
Description

Beryl var Aquamarine with Muscovite

Shigar Valley, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan

4.0x3.8x2.7cm

Cluster of 3 focal Aquamarine crystals with and additional small crystal on the backside of the specimen. All 3 glassy, well terminated crystals are complete, with no damage. These gemmy Aquas have good color and clarity, with cloud-like inclusions running across the A-axis of the crystals. The Shigar Valley has produced a large volume of Aquamarine in recent times, but this piece is a truly exceptional example from the area. Until last year this specimen was in the personal collection of the miner, in Pakistan.
