Large Azurite blade, with great color and associated Malachite. This specimen has excellent luster and a bright electric to midnight blue crystal face, complimented with partial pseudomorphing to Malachite. Excellent example from this classic Namibian locality, which is widely regarded as one of the finest producers of Azurite specimens. The Tsumeb mine officially closed in 1996. Before closure the mine operated as a commercial mine for Lead, Copper and Zinc ore.
