Tsumeb mine has furnished mineral cabinets and museums with some of the world's largest Wulfenite crystals and in a wide variety of forms and colours. This lovely miniature specimen features several quite glossy pale clove brown tabular Wulfenite crystals with pronounced wide sloping bevelled edge modifications. The largest crystal reaches 1.8 cm on edge and is freestanding with great shape all around, but with tiny 'nibbles' along the top edge. Another two prominent tabular crystals of the same form are seen extending from the other end of the specimen. This is a very fine Tsumeb Wulfenite. It is by no means the largest in terms of crystal size, but these crystals are highly visible and present extremely well for such an iconic Tsumeb species.
