This is a really fun, high quality miniature Wulfenite from the famous Erupción mine at Los Lamentos, Chihuahua, Mexico. Featuring the iconic bright, resinous, orange, thick tabular crystal form (in crystals to 7 mm on edge) on a contrasting white background of layered Calcite it really does look superb. The crystals are nearly all perfect, with just a couple around the edges which are fractured fragments, but all of the main crystals are excellent and the lustre on some of the main tabular faces is remarkably bright. Most of the crystals are freestanding upright, or at a shallow angle, meaning that that display their form wonderfully well. Additionally, some of the crystals display the classic 'sandwich'-like colour zoning, and others show the development of slightly bevelled edges. A very fine Wulfenite miniature.
