This miniature Fluorite from Okorusu mine in Namibia has a fine glassiness to it and combined with the iconic teal blue-green colour makes for a really attractive specimen. Fluorite crystals from Okorusu can sometimes be complex shapes, but these, although aggregated, are simple cubes. There is some chipping along the edges of the crystals and one cleaved crystal at one end, but this is a nicely balanced specimen, with great colour, superb transparency and a lovely overall shape. Internally, many of the crystals display distinctive deeper green thread-like wispy zonation with a paler green body colour. Individually, the cubic crystals reach 2 cm on edge and some tiny Quartz crystals are sparsely scattered upon the surface too.
