Calcite Twinned
Stunning quality twinned calcite from Balmat New York. This is a brand new find. The top of the specimen features an awesome interpenetrating crystal that is often referred to as a penetration twin. The sides and back of the specimen are cleaved since they were collected out of a fault zone and removed from the dolomite they occur on.
