Titanite (twinned) on matrix
A sharp and lustrous twinned crystal of titanite sits upon matrix (chlorite and calcite); and on close look it shows not one but two different twinning habits or styles. The crystal is complete all around and approximately 1.5 cm wide and tall. Overall a choice thumbnail specimen, and these are rare in such balanced matrix pieces as a thumbnail size.
