This cute matrix miniature hosts a GEM green crystal with a lustrous, glassy, transparent termination (the gem potion is over 1 cm tall and thick through the crystal). The crystal is 2.8 cm tall, over an inch. This gem crystal sits on matrix of a quartz crystal, all coated a bit with matrix clay as the piece has never been to a lab for a modern cleaning (meaning the tourmaline also has some pocket clay you can see, and would improve with lab work). This is as found, as it came out, and so pretty that we simply left it as it is since so many specimens are over-prepped these days and it is interesting to actually see something come out of the ground ready to put on a shelf and look at!
