Rhodochrosite
A nicely terminated and undamaged focal crystal of rhodochrosite sits at the center of this specimen. The crystal is in a limonite vug with metallic manganese swirling around the matrix. Some of the crystals on this specimen are scalenohedral while the largest consist of subparallel terminated crystals that produce almost a fanning spray.
