Fluorite$650.00

Wire transfers available, to set up
This relatively pure crystallized aggregate of Fluorite from the famous South Crofty mine near Camborne in Cornwall features crystals exceptionally to 2.4 cm on edge. They are colourless, glassy and bright, with good transparency, but there is damage, with several points of contact, the occasional cleaved corner and 'nibbles' along the edges of crystals. That said, good crystallized specimens of Fluorite from South Crofty mine are extremely rare. These Fluorite crystals also display some inclusions. Some of these are tiny Pyrite crystals but others are much darker. Ex Malcolm Southwood collection, no. MS 1999.036.
