Quartz on Chrysocolla ps. Malachite ps. Azurite$4,500.00

Wire transfers available, to set up
One of the most treasured and beautiful of all American classic minerals were the famous sparkling blue chrysocolla from several locations in Arizona, including the Miami district. This rich specimen would have come out in the 1970s or earlier, and is a classic example with large, flat crystals of multiple layers of minerals. A thin layer of quartz overlays the chrysocolla, which is itself a replacement of malachite. The malachite is a replacement of azurite, thus making this a "double pseudomorph"! Large specimens of this richness are uncommon. Also, this is unusual in that it is a "pocket style" of specimen, showcasing relatively large crystals at 1 inch or so.
