Gypsum with Calcite$600.00

Wire transfers available, to set up
This fine aggregate of textbook glassy monoclinic Gypsum var. Selenite crystals is from the famous Naica area, Mun. de Saucillo, Chihuahua, Mexico, where the famous "Cave of the crystals" was found a decade or so ago. The crystals on this specimen reach 8.8 cm in length and are in excellent condition, with just the lightest of abrasions along some edges. Three main crystals are aligned parallel to each other with a fourth at an oblique angle at one end. Minor fine grained Calcite occurs as scattered patches of small scalenohedral crystals which continue into the Selenite crystals. One tiny patch of purple Fluorite glimpses out from the back of the specimen. A nice showy Selenite from probably the most famous area in the world for Selenite crystals.
