Lustrous, translucent, butterscotch-colored Wulfenite crystals are distributed evenly across the matrix plate. At least two dozen uniquely formed rich orange Wulfenites from 0.5 to 2.0 cm are richly spread across a thin surface of dark green Mimetite that coats a Goethite-stained matrix. The Wulfenite crystal morphology is different not only for the locality, but for the species as well. Crystals from this particular find are typically elongate tetragonal bipyramids that come to a point or at least have a flat termination on the ends. Most of these are distorted and somewhat flattened, some are blocky with a slightly malformed shape and very few, mostly the smallest ones, have the more typical bipyramidal shape for the locality. The crystals have good enough isolation to make these odd, but attractive crystals look very artistic. This is an interesting example for the species and also for the find at this locality for the huge, unusually shaped crystals.
