Sharp, amazingly fine pink octahedral fluorites to 2.2 cm on edge form a perfect floater cluster on this refined specimen from the famous August of 2019 pocket from Inner Mongolia's iron mines in a historic find for China. This is one of the few pristine floater specimens of this size and quality with almost no damage (only one corner missing on a minor interior crystal, perhaps a contact in any case), repairs, nor restorations. We purchased it in September of 2019 in China as we travelled back and forth, tracing down portions of the dispersed pocket. These "Daisy Chains" of any quality, with translucent/transparent crystals and good color, probably numbered at a few dozen or less in top quality. It is an elegant and refined fluorite that stands out from pink octahedrons from any other locality, and also from most of this find. They are, today, 5 years later, super rare on the market and this only remained available here as we lost it in storage temporarily. It could not be better. In person, it has numerous display angles and sits on its own, at most of them.
