This large miniature specimen from Zaragoza, Aragón, Spain, is like a small bowl within which protrude two, crystal-clear, sword-like Gypsum var. Selenite crystals. The matrix is probably massive Gypsum - the variety Alabaster. The Selenite crystals show wonderful shape and are undamaged. The longest crystal is 22 mm in length. Although small, this specimen is certainly dramatic.
