Wire transfers available, to set up
A most impressive, sturdy sheet of Native Silver perches above a dark grey matrix looking like a bird with outstretched wings. This cabinet specimen is from the Cobalt Area within the Timiskaming District of Ontario, Canada and is a most eye-catching example of sheet Native Silver measuring 8.9 cm at its widest point and 5.7 cm high. It varies in thickness between about 0.5 and 2 mm, but even at its thinnest points the structure is strong and robust. The Native Silver is generally battleship grey with thin streaks of adhering white Quartz. The matrix block on which it stands is also very rich in Native Silver and when flicked with a finger, rings with a metallic thud. A showy and rich example of Native Silver from the Cobalt area of Canada.
