Cassiterite ps. after Orthoclase$700.00

Wire transfers available, to set up
Unusual pseudomorphs of Cassiterite after perfectly formed Orthoclase crystals were discovered at Wheal Coates near St. Agnes in Cornwall in 1828 and have become one of the most iconic Cornish classics, perhaps because they have never been repeated anywhere else. At 2.8 cm in length this one is a really great size and it has excellent shape to it too. It also has the nice feature of containing fragments, or grains of Quartz that were reported, but not often seen in these specimens. Formerly in Mike Brooke's collection of British minerals.
