Liroconite with Clinoclase$1,200.00

Wire transfers available, to set up
A fine thumbnail specimen of mainly bluish emerald green Liroconite, occasional tiny patches of deep sky blue Liroconite and deep inky blue to black Clinoclase from Wheal Gorland in the parish of Gwennap, Cornwall. Liroconite has always been known to occur as both blue and green crystals and it is estimated the green or blue-green variety comprises just one tenth of the more well know blue examples. The crystals are not perfect, yet one Liroconite, forming a characteristic triangular half lozenge termination measures an impressive 9 mm wide by about 6 mm tall. The two copper arsenate minerals are intergrown and pervade a small matrix of brecciated Quartz veinstone. Although this specimen is a true green Liroconite, do not suspect it could be the new species Kernowite, as the number of such specimens is extremely low!
